Regarding your personal unit with
Velcro strap, where is the product strapped
to a person, and how would a person activate it? The units are strapped to arms, legs, life jackets, belts or life rafts.
The units are time release systems that begin to dissolve when they are exposed to the water.
How long after activation will the product
remain effective? The effective life of the unit depends on the water
current and temperature. An estimated life time for the personal unit is 2 to 2.5 hours.
Should the wearer wait until a shark is detected
before activating the product, or does it provide time-released protection for recreational activities in the water?
Due to EPA regulations we are not able to market our products to recreational
bathers. Even though our product is bio-degradable we and the EPA do not want to see it being worn by thousands of bathers
everyday. Our on-demand system is designed to be utilized in case of a sighting and or an actual attack.
The unit is designed to function as a rescue float and a repellent delivery system. This is the system we recommend
for anyone who enters the ocean. We are hoping that Life Guards will soon maintain a rescue unit at all their stations.
Is the product an irritant to the skin? Although our repellent is not aggressive to the skin or
eyes it is recommended that as soon as possible the exposed areas should be washed.
Is the personal unit good for more
than one outing in the water, if used as previously described? Since the
units are designed for emergency utilization we do not recommend that they be reused.
Anything you recommend for
a swimmer on the beach? Due

How rather useless your product is!
Only good if a shark is already there. (and already eaten a human) How
stupid!: If you are the person attempting to rescue a shark attack victim you may think twice about
your comment. The man "the Hero" who went to the rescue the young lady attacked on the west coast of Florida a few weeks
ago reported that he had to continually hit a shark that came at him repeatedly while he was working his way out to the victim.
A few years ago a man died from a bite (bleeding out) when no one on shore would go out to assist him fearing being attacked
if they did. Sharks will remain in the area of an attack. If you take the time to do some research there are many accounts
of rescuers of shark attack victims being attacked themselves. Since it is not possible to protect all the bathers in
the water there will continue to be attacks. Our goal is to assist the rescuer by offering an effective method
to drive the shark(s) off.
